yeah she has been good to me just did clutch and little stuff here and there. Next thing im thinking on doing is getting a base map for the b20. Currently running p75 ls ecu. I took it to the track a couple times with some friends and best i got was 15.6 with clutch starting to slip.

what clutch setup did you go with? I've had a b20b with b16 transmission. It had good low end and mid range but nothing on the top end.

i went with stage 1 excedy with lightweight flywheel. Can feel noticable change in performance. Yeah mine gives good power till about 6,000 rpm. I'm hoping that a base map can help that out. Still have to go test with new clutch and tires but unfortunately the track shut down for the corona.

unfortunately there won't be much to gain up top with the non vtec b20. It stops pulling after a certain range and the valvetrain is not good for turning high rpm's. That was from my experience. The corona epidemic is shutting down alot of business. I held back on going farther at this time with my build until this passes

yeah I don't plan on revving that high just hoping for at least 7200rpm I was reading up on running an LS ECU and people say your runs a little lean up top

I was unaware at the time that it was not a rev friendly engine. I can't remember if the a/f ratio up top was lean but I was running a p28. This was about 10 years ago though. There is not many non vtec b series build's anymore and not many upgrades for gains without boost

I also have the p8r head. I have a local shop that does custom regrinds on cams for 150 to 180 you think that would be worth it? I am also running full interior maybe I should shed some weight on it help improve times

I've not had a regrind to a camshaft myself. There is a discussion about this on the forum i ran across when thought of doing the same but really couldn't find enough info on it. There is camshafts that are around the same price i saw awhile back though.

That's a pretty hefty shot i'd say for myself. I am looking into a 75 shot on my setup. The p8r head with really good porting and a crower camshaft (cheapest i've found) with a good intake manifold/throttle body combination i'd say would be better option vs the P75 head on a shot.

Haha yeah way to much. Also what are your thoughts on running a .48 trim turbo (about same size mr2 turbo) on like 6psi. Im thinking this size so i can have boost coming in around 3300 rpm. I've drove my friends mr2 and like the power band it has.

That size on the hot side is good for quick spool. What compressor size will you be running? This could net you that 250hp-350hp range without too much stress on it and of course it's more variables to it

About 250 sounds nice still able to daily and enough juice to surprise some. I also have a 92 integra rs with a b20b and cable gsr. Want to turbo one and throw a b16 head on the other not sure which.
