I just replaced a D16Y7 out of a 98 Ex with a D15B and the swap went by fine, the only issue I’m ran Into was my tachometer and speedometer not marking on my cluster. My thought on it is the plug at the end of the wire harness by the clutch fluid resivoir was 10 pins from the D16’s wire harness while the D15B has 8 pins.
Im believing my issue is coming from the harnesses because my speed sensor by the transmission was working properly on both engines.
any insight will be vastly appreciated 👍
