Hi All,
I’ve been lurking here for a while, just got back into cars. I recently bought a 92 civic si. A little background, I’m old, have two toddler girls, I’m a 4th grade teacher currently. I’m from San Jose, Ca. My Honda background- worked at Group-A-Autosports (skunkworks/Skunk2) going through college (just shipping department). I also worked as a Honda JR tech as while going through college. I’ve owned an eg, dc2 (turbo), miata na, AE86, Datsun 510, a bunch of family cars (currently an Ascent), and just bought an eg si that’s pretty beat up. Trying to swap a B18C sir-g currently to pass smog and get my title, and installing a lot of old parts I’ve collected along the way. I’m looking to restore it and just have a fun car to work on/play with on the weekends, nothing serious. My inspiration is mainly the old Group A class. Happy to be back and hoping to learn a lot from all of you because many things have changed considerably since I really considered myself an enthusiast. I appreciate the help in advance.
