Icon7 New here

Hello,

I am new to this forum. It has been almost 20 years since I completed my last Civic motor swap. I am now wanting to do this with my son. My previous swap was a 1992 Civic hatch vx, I swapped a b16A for the D. I loved racing around in that car, but as I said that was 20+ years ago. Now I have a 1997 Civic EX coupe. It needs a lot of work but has a recently rebuilt 1998 1.6L SOHC VTEC motor D16Y8. Looking to to do another B16 swap, maybe a B16B , or even just putting boost on the d16. I am open and just getting started.

You may have missed the economical b-swap period by a few years. B's are just not as plentiful anymore. You may be better off boosting the D.
