Hi all !
New member to the forum but have reviewed it many times while making repairs to the family 2000 Honda Accord ex 2.3 Vtec 5sp manual trans.
Although I am a new member I can wait 5 days and make 2 post to ask for some help.
I need help with getting the car to run properly.
Check engine light came on while my wife was driving the car.
Checking with the scan tool I recovered the code P1149, after checking some things and asking several people I swapped out the air / fuel sensor, reset the computer and drove the car waiting for the CEL to come back on.... Because the car remained in limp mode. Car drove fine in all gears until it hit 3000 rpm. Would not go over and would sputter and break up due to the rev limiter.
Once the CEL came back on I checked the code and it was P0172, with pending codes P1149 and P01162. Now I know it's not the first sensor in the exhaust... That was just replaced... After running around in circles checking everything that I found on this forum and from the net, I have not yet found the cause... I am now looking for a list of operating parameters for all the sensors so that I can compare those with the live monitor.
Can anyone provide me with this list or direct me in the right direction ?
