my name is Phillip and I build race boats in NewZealand.
To date I've worked with Mercury 2 stroke V6 2
Mercury 2.5L outboards.
Around 245hp mostly.
I've decided to build a k24 race outboard
Turbocharged.
Honda already sell an outboard using the k24 platform, but its not suited to circuit racing as its too bulky and top heavy.
A good race outboard needs to be built very low and short in the mid section.
I've built the bottom half of the outboard already and currently run a murc v6 on it.
However, the Americans now build 300-450hp outboards that are dominating the world of racing.
I want to push back on that
So here I am.
