I have joined this group in search of answers after having ongoing trouble with my 01 Civic’s transmission. A few months ago, my neighbor- a trusted mechanic and friend installed an engine that had 37,000 miles on it. After driving it about 50 miles- the trans acted as if it was in neutral. So, I found a replacement trans from an 05 Civic. Just got the car back yesterday and it drove only a FEW miles and the same thing happened. Car had to be towed home. Am I just REALLY unlucky or could there be s cause for this? Please help. Mahalo!
