My new project, I'm old-school grew up in the 90s import scene.. been out the game for a very long time. Technology has definitely advanced and the laws have gotten much more stricter here in Cali. I love San Diego CA but dammit man to be smog legal or not to be is the question. I want to slap a Type R in it but USDM are so damn rare, I hear alot about K series and sounds great but don't think it's easy to smog in Cali unless I have to spend crazy gobs of money... But thinking better yet save some pennies and slap a GSR and supercharge it IF THATS LEGAL? I saw Jackson Racing was legal but they don't make those anymore or find a used one and hope it's complete unfortunately. My build is for the street and 210-215 whp that's the goal, and making it lighter adding CF material, not going to run my motor to the ground since it will be my DD.
