Recently my car has been acting sort of funny and I decided today after trying numerous tips from you guys that I need to check the head and pistons and stuff to see if everything is okay. Well, I comes to find out that there is oil in all but the number 2 spark plug. There is oil on top of my pistons and looks really dirty like there is lots of carbon on top of them. The car idles at 3000 rpm and I don't know if this has to do with it or not, but could this be related to it? If so, how can I fix this problem?

 

build up on the piston top is normal. how much mileage do you have on your car?

I am not sure, but now it idles at 3000 rpm! What do I do to fix it? I was going to put new rings on, but then I thought I was going to buy a new block, but then I thought about buying a new engine completely. Could damage be in my head or just the block?
