i have the chilton manuals.... i was just looking for HT's write ups....mainly for the better step by step pics. i have my fair share of knowledge about motors and such, but i just don't have the hands on experience and i will probably be attacking this by myself, along with HT

Re: (HondaPartsHero)
you probably shouldnt be attempting this if you need the service manuals for anything more than torque specs and clearances.

Re: (JDMAppeal)
Look in the FAQs in the Tech forums such as all-motor and forced induction, there are some good guides on there.

Good luck, educate yourself before you dive in. Triple check EVERYTHING

How to bible:

But seriously a lot goes into rebuilding a complete motor. i dont recommend you just jumping in and doing it. Watching somebody first would be ideal. be careful and dont use a bunch of expensive parts on ur first try.

i'm not in a rush to put the motor in so i have plenty of time to research ( at least until my sohc takes a ****, it just ticked 200k last week ). i just can't find any sites with good pics. i know plenty about different cars and motors ( i've been readin message boards for years along with equal times worth of mags....back when sport compact car used to be good up until now) i just don't have actual "hands on" experience....on that note

keep the links coming people...
