I'm starting my swap, Im using a 99 Si harness, 2001 GSR engine, into 2000 Hatch.

I have an extra wire that plugs into this sensor...but Im really not sure what it is??



Its the sensor that taps into the top of the intake manifold, next to the evap valve.

The sensor below the EVAP in your pic is the Intake Air Temperature sensor.

 

Ok...but why would the Si harness have 2 IAT sensor plugs...the Si IAT sensor is this I thought...I know it was on my last swap........

 

Ok..I think I just figured it out. I forgot the Si and GSR have a power steering pump switch...thats what I have plugged into the GSR IAT I'm sure.

I need to switch the plugs on the IAT sensor wire, and extend it to reach the GSRs IAT Sensor.

 

The Si harness has the IAT plug in the wrong spot because the Si has the IAT in the intake rubber tube and not on the intake manifold like the GSR.

 

Yep, plug is different as well...thats the part I wasn't expecting.
