Sorry about that guys. I'm swapping my 95 accord engine for a h22. I'd like to know if it is best to keep my accord tranny or get the prelude tranny. I'll also be adding a drag 3 turbo kit. Please give advantages and disadvantages. I was told that I would'nt know where vtec kicked in at with the accord tranny, therefore I would'nt get the full potential of the motor. Also that I would lose alot of torque. I did a search on this and could not find anything pertaining to this issue for hybrid accords. Please help, I was supposed to order my engine today,but did'nt due to this confusion. Thanks in advance.

Tranny is up to you but you should get the h22 tranny. It has better gearing. About not being able to feel vtec. Someone's got the good drugs. The tranny has nothing to do with whether or not you "feel" vtec. If you have an h22 you'll feel it.

 

hey i have a 96 and was wondering about swapping a h22. if you could give me any info or links you have that would be great. I am new to the whole import scene so i dont' know anything about swapping the engines or turbos or anything. thanks.
