What motor is the B18K?
Is it a LS motor, if so what year?

 

I believe that's a VOLVO 440-460-480 series engine bud.

Looks like someone filled then re-engraved the seriel #.... looks shady to me...

 

aight, just wanted to know, someone said it was an ls block , but i have never heard of B18K, def. wont buy the block.

Yeah I saw that pic just now, and said to myself, hmmm yeah nice "K".

Anyways that's a VOLVO engine "B18K-xxx" series. I've seen the the engine block stamps on VOLVO's myself at my buddies salvage yard.

Unless someone has a good explanation on that picture re-stamping ?

Some one prolly grinded that serial # plate... could also be a photochop.

 

its not photochop and nobody did anything to the serial#. i took the picture myself and yes its a b18k. it came off an ls and even got an ls head on it, so i guess its gotta be an ls right?? i'm not an expert or anything but i'm pretty sure its not a volvo engine. the only reason he took it off cuz he got a b18c. i'm not shaddy and definitely not a crook. i'm not making money off the block just selling for a friend. if i really want to i'll sell the b18b that i got in my garage. its still in my hatch but i can't drive it cuz its totaled. so if you know anything about b18k let me know??

 

are the VIN plates still on it? and what year engine is it

 

the K is fake.
somebody files the origional off and stamped that on there.

teh top and bottom of the B has been removed,

see how the < of the K is the same as the < of the B?

Also notice how the "K" is shitfted/lined UP to the right quite a bit and smaller. I've seen some "JDM" or "Euro" Honda BLOCKS a bit off on the stamping, but damn this one is way off.

Did you guys notice how the block is dirty and oiled, while the stamping is nice and clean. Either shaved off and engraved, or photochop.

well......the block is gone. i called him and asked him about it and he told me that he just sold it to some dude. i asked him about the k part and he told me that he don't know but he got the block from some kid. as far as it being re-engraved we don't know anything about it. and as for as it being photochop that is just not possible cuz i took the picture myself and i saw the k with my own eyes and it look legit. i asked the the same question when i first saw that block but i didn't put too much thougnt into it cuz it wasn't mine. so from now on i'm not selling anybody elses stuff except for mine.

 

ya i need one of those b18k's too!!!!!!!!!!!
