Default tranny question

would a h23 tranny work out allright with my h22a? I think my h22 tranny is shot and i can get a good price on a h23 tranny. Any help would be much appreciated.

yea its a h series.....but i think that the non vtec engine trannys have longer gearing than the short gear vtec engines...i was told that a longer geared tranny on a vtec will make it fall out....but im not sure about that

well i am glad to hear that it will work, however, will it have problems like falling out of vtec or poor accelleration?
