Default tranny problem after swap

I just put a ls motor and gsr tranny in my friends hatch. I started the car, put it reverse and backed up. Then I put it in first and started to drive. The shifter popped out of first and now it will go into gear but the car wont go anywhere. Do you guys thing maybe a spring on the clutched popped off? Or do you have any ohter ideas?

Check your axels, one might have poped out alittle and if it did then the car will go into gear but it will not drive. The axel has to be all the way in the tranny in order for it to drive.
