tranny code..

we just picked up a bseries tranny today.. and on the label says its an s20.... what type of tranny is it?? gsr, ls , or si?? thanks

I believe its Ls, some1 correct me if I am wrong.

S20 is a SOHC transmission (I believe the HX/HF style tranny...... we have one out back) ...... S21 is a DOHC transmission (Y21 spec but found on the US B16 Del Sols)

the bell housing has that white sticker label and it does say s20 on it... i dont know, but as long as its not an LS trans, its all good..
