"B20 build" is pretty vague dude. What kind of build? Turbo? near stock? high-revving all-motor?
I have a B18B (very similar to the B20 stock) in my 98 hatch with the GSR tranny. It works well but is at 4000rpm at close to 80mph. With the B16 tranny it would be closer to 4400 I think. On a car with a 7000 redline it's a bit high. Those B16 gears are designed for cars that go over 8000rpm. Not that you can't use them but it would get irritating and your economy will go down.
