Default tech ?

how hard is it to put a z6 head on a y7 block? and what all needs to be done? ive just recently aquired a y7 and i need to put my z6 head on it cuz i threw a rod on it. any other advice would be greatly apreciated.

and can i use the y7 tb on the z6 im cuz the one on there is ported.

do a search, i might be doing the samething soon! it shouldn't be too hard, good luck!

yeah, not a newbie. already searched, didnt find anything that was the same as what i was doin. found out that the head should line up exactly though

Yes it'll work. You just need to use your distributor and the fuel injector's and such.

I'd suggest to use the intake manifold or grab a Y8 manifold.

You will want to use the Y7 headgasket. Other than that, wire up VTEC and you're good to go
