I just bought a 92 CX hatch for a grand. It runs, but will need a new engine soon. What would you all suggest I put in it. This is my daily driver. I have a modded 350Z for racing, so this hatch will just be for me to drive to work, and to play with. I have always wanted to build a fast *** turbo B18B hatch, but thats not economically feasible right now. I am just looking for some nice power, that will be reliable, and not expensive. D16Z6, B18B? What would you guys recommend? Thanks.

 

b18b or b16a.....

I would almost recommend the b16...when you decide it doesn't have enough TQ you can get a b18c, b18b, or b20b block.

If you start with a b18b and want top end all you need is a vtec head and ecu...but the tranny gear ratios will definatly hold you back.
