Here is the problem. Im running a D16z6 head, on an A6 block. Im using obd1 electronics. The obd1 z6 distributor I bought, still does not line up with my head, it lines up just slightly better then my a6 distributor did. I know its an obd1 distributor, because it works fine with my p28 ecu, it has grey plugs too. And I know my head cant be a y7/y8 because then my old a6 distributor would have bolted up perfectly, but it didnt. So my quesion is, what the hell do I have then ? Im tired of ghetto rhigging the distributor with brackets, and washers.

 

Not even a off the top of the head guess ?? cmon people..

 

The distributor may be an obd1 but not a z6. Z6 distributors fit z6 heads.

 

i figured its not z6 my self, i just wanna know exactly what i have then ?

 

maybe a dx motor 92-95
