Default Static compression ratio question.

I have a question about the static compression ratio for this motor combo. It has been along time since i have messed with B series motors so i am not sure.

B16a block, and crank, with CTR pistons, and a GSR head.

IIRC the gsr combustion chamber is different the b16a and b18c1/5 and i thought it neted more compression...

Thanks for the help

I'd probably be leary about clearances of those pistons with the head. They'll be out of the hole on the b16a block. And yes the GSR does have a smaller combustion chamber than the B16/ITR head. It'll probably net in the range of an additional 0.2-0.4 compression depending on what combo of parts is used and how far in/out of the hole the pistons are going to be.

thanks for the help, i talked to some one super knowledgeable on the subject. And he said it isn't needed and just causes issues using the GSR head.

Any one have a b16a long block for sale?
