i serached but nothing came up....well my little bro got pulled over the other day and got a ticket to go to the state ref....he has a 2000 civic hb with a b16a2 my question is what does he have to do to have it pass? and which state ref do you guys recommand going too in the socal area 951/909/714 area? what happens if he goes to the ref and doesnt pass?

any feedback will be helpful thanks ht'erz

If he goes to the ref and doesn't pass then he will need to go back as many times as it takes to make the car legal to drive on the CA streets.

Or if he doesn't want to go threw all the ref bullshit, he could just pay the ticket.

if he pays the fines does he still to call the ref? his main concern is passing with the b16 and lookin for tips how to pass what needs to done

i passed with a ES Oval, exhaust is just noise pretty much, doesnt really affect smog, but if it will make u feel better, throw it back on

what kind of car do you have and what engine?

I called the Rancho C court house they said the ticket is $206, If I can get a cop to just sign after the correction they will accept that, and the ticket will be $10. So no Ref unless I want to.
