I tried searching but the engine is busy, for the past hour! I will search again when I can. My H22 Civic is constantly idling from about 1 1/2 - 3. Sounds like a vacuum leak. I checked all lines coming off of the intake manifold. The EGR is not hooked up at all and those lines are capped. The IAB is not in use and the line on the intake manifold is capped off. The evap cannister is hooked up partially. Its hooked up to the line closet the intake near where the MAP sensor hooks up. The line going towards the back of the car is hooked up. The third line is not, however I completley disconnected the evap from the intake manifold and still the same problem. All of the vaccum lines are brand new Hose Technique hoses. Does anyone have a clue what the problem could be?

 

Could be a bad IACV or maybe even a bad TB

 

Could you explain more? could the gasket on the throttle body be bad? Wouldnt I get a MIL code if the IACV were bad? the only codes I have now are for oxygen sensor and ECT. The O2 sensor is not hooked up and the ECU is UK spec (long story) and the engine is Jap spec,...so the engine does not have an extra ECT sensor.
