radiator problems....
Well actually according to my gauges I don't have anyproblems. But I noticed after I drive for a while antifreeze will boil into the overflow. It actually boils. Some of it evaporates and I have to add more water. I don't think this is normall. The needle stays just below half way all the time. I would feel more comfortable if the fluid wasn't boiling over because I think my car may be overheating without me knowing or something. My car has overheated (overflow was cracked) though so I think my temperature gauge is working properly. Any suggestions?

Dude, I bet that you didnt hook up your fan switch when you did your swap. See my webpage on where the fan switch activator is located @. Click on the swap link... Mine did the same thing, then I hook'd up the fan switch and it cooled down just fine.... But it was super hot when I didnt have it hooked up. If thats not the problem, you could have a blown HG that is eating coolant.... or both

first I suggest you flush the entire coolant system ie; radiator & engine block. you might have something stuck in the coolant tracts. also make sure there isn't any air bubbles in the system-my dad's van had a problem exactly like yours. all I did was refilled the radiator and open the radiator cap and let the van idled until I couldn't see anymore bubbles coming out of the radiator( I idled it for a good 30 mins just to be sure, fan came on twice also!) and last for the worst case scenario would be a leaking head gasket. symptom would be obvious ie; coolant disappear in the reservior, lack of power, idle goes up and down constantly-due to air entering the coolant tracts, coolant smell inside the car and last the sound of air escaping the cylinder when the engine is on. hopes that help.
Thanks for the replies. My fan comes on I know that for sure. I forgot to mention I have a block guard installed between the cylinders. Could that be the problem? Maybe not enough coolant can escape fast enough. Wouldn't I know if I had a blown headgasket? NO smoke from the exhaust. I probably just have an air pocket.
