swapped a 98 prelude vtec into a 1993 prelude si used the wire harness from the original si motor and injectors used a p13 ecu motor runs great with the original p14 ecu but when the p13 ecu is hooked it floods out and hesitates and stumbles until warmed up any suggestions thanks for any help

 

Okay, give us more info.

What distributor are you using? And for the injectors, are you using the H23 injectors?

If you used your old wiring harness, you should only have ONE connector that isn't in use...it's by the distributor, near the thermostat. Everything else should be plugged in.

Also, make sure your TPS is in working order. And which MAP sensor did you use? The stock one on the firewall, or the one on the throttle body?

I was in the same shoe...H22a4 in 94 Si. The actual swap was easy, since everything dropped right in...even the VTEC wiring. But it took me forever to chase each and every CEL that popped up. And finally, 4 months AFTER the swap, everything is running perfect...no CEL's or anything!

Let me know if there are any other problems...because most likely, I've ran across it as well!

 

I'm also in ATlanta and just finished the H22 swap into my 4th gen S. My engine is a JDM though. I may have to ask you a few questions once I check all the CEL's i'm throwing.
