Default piston/rod combo?

I just have one small question. Will a B16 piston fit on to an ls rod? I was wondering if I would have to do any machine work to get them to fir. I've been told by the shop they "should" fit but I don't trust them much.

Thanx
Renzema

you need to machine about .035-.040" off each side on the small end of the rod

Thanx for the help.
I did a search and yes they said they would fit but no one said how much I would have to machine it.
