OBD2 d15b ecu?
im doing a swap for a buddy and he has a 99' Ex with a Y8 in it and he got a obd2 jdm 3stage vtec d15b. What ecu does this motor need to run properly? can i use the stock ex ecu? Any help/links would be appreciated. I already searched, and nothing really answerd my question. thanks
Hey whats up. My brother and I put the same swap in my 1996 civic ex, because of emissions we opted not to put the jap spec ecu in the car, we used the d16y8's ecu. After a good amount of driving, the 1.6 liter ecu relearned everything, such as its a 1.5 now, not a 1.6. My car ran great, extremely peppy and sounded asstastic. hope this helps

I also swapped out the intake mani. Im having trouble getting it to start. it just cranks and cranks and cranks. I need some help on what to do
