i have a bit of a connundrum in my tranny choices. i have 2 motors, a b20z2, and a b18c1, and 2 trannys, a usdm gsr and a usdm ls that was just rebuilt with a quaife. ive decided to go with the b18c1 for a motor, but im unsure what to do about my tranny situation. i spent a pissload of money putting together the ls, and it worked really well on the b20, but im worried the gearing will be all wrong for my gsr motor. ive been trying to trade the ls for a tighter geared trans with an lsd, with no success. is there anything i can do (without spending too much more $$) to improve the ls, or should i keep the gsr and do something with that? or just keep trying to trade the ls for an itr or other trans?

 

trade that ls tranny for the the itr. you said it yourself that you want close gearing. itr tranny is the way for quick acceleration.

 

i have been trying, but no one seems to have any interest in it. im trying to see if i have any other options.
