Am i going to have to modify my downpipe to fit my stock exhaust? Im putting a 92 LS into a 90 CRX using HASport mounts. I was thinking that i might have to shorten it to fit with the stock exhaust and cat. If i do have to shorten....are there any other options besides cutting/re-welding? Like some sort of flex pipe pr something? I just dont trust the welders around here...they always have leaks in their work.
I asked this in the EF forum but i didnt get a response...Thanks.

When I used the stock downpipe from my B18C1 the points to bolt up to the flex pipe aren't aligned. So yeah, I had to custom fabricate it a bit. I cut and welded a nt onto the downpipe that I could slide a bolt through the flexpipe to bolt up, and then welded a stud on the opposite side to be able to put a nut on. Good luck.
