Need help k swapping 94 accord
I’m looking to k-swap my 94 accord lx coupe with a jdm k24 and possibly a Tsx 6 speed manual transmission if it’s doable. I’m not a mechanic and relatively new to the car community, but i bought a 94 accord for $900 I think the car has potential to be something beautiful and I feel like it wouldn’t be a bad project to do on the side. So I’m looking for a list of parts that’s going to be needed to do this swap and if the tsx 6 speed can fit. Please keep in mind I’m new so I’m sorry in advance if I have a lot of question, if I’m going to do this I want to do this right, and I do fully understand this task will not be as easy as swapping to an h22 but I feel like the challenge will be worth it and keep me occupied. Thank you for any and all help.
there are pros to using the accord you have, obviously you have it and it was cheap. Hasport does sell a mount kit for your chassis which is the next big hurdle. but K-swaps are less common for this application.
The level of detailed assistance you are looking for is readily available for the more common option: 93-00 civic. a fair amount of that guidance will translate over to the accord, but the specific part numbers may not. also VTEC Academy which is associated with Hasport has good general info.
you should be able to put together a parts list that suits your use case, budget and skill set once you've read through that and poked around the google machine a little more.

the parts list is nearly identical to what you would need to kswap a civic or integra. mount kit, axles, wiring harness, conversion harness, fuel rail, radiator, etc
for your year accord you would use the CDK1 mount kit and it works with the k24 engine and tsx k24 transmissoin

What else would fall under the etc category, I don’t really know much or where to look for the information that I need. I’ve seen other people have done the k swap. So I know it’s doable I just don’t know where to start outside of sourcing the transmission, engine, and mounting kit. The radiator and fuel rail replacement is also news to me so thank you for the extra information
etc is hoses, nuts, bolts and whatever else is needed for the swap
