I need help modifying a distributor. Has anyone got experience in doing so? So far Ive replaced the ignitor but have question about what wires get xfered over.

The old distributor is one from a 94 accord which has an external coil.
The new one id from a H23 that has an internal coil

There is an extra plug on the Accord distributor which I believe is going to be for the external coil. Can I use the internal coil distributor and modify my Accord Wire harness?

Please any info is much appreciated
By the way the motor were dealing with is an H23 hybrid
