Default knock scencor

my 91 integra already had a knock scencor on it. but i can't find it on any of the pinout sheets. i used the integra harness to wire up the engine and everything but the second o2, vtec silinoid and vtec oilpressure switch wired up. then i changed the ecu pins but i have no idea where the knock scencor is on the pin outs. im mot getting a code 23 all the time but i am constantly getting code 22 and i can't figure out why. could it be because i don't have the knock scencor hooked up right? please help. it has a knock scencor because the harness pluged into the new knock scencor on the b16.

i'm pretty sure the 91 teg did NOT come with a knock sensor. wire up it up and you should be fine. it's the plug on the back of the block right above the oil filter.

ill bet you that what you think is the knock sensor is actually the oil temp switch. I made the same mistake. There is no knock sensor on a b18a.

that sensor you are talking about is the Oil Temp sensor behind the block.

Knock sensor is not on the B18A, if it was, it would be located on the block just before the head (right underneath the intake manifold)

ok im an idot.
the 90 to 91 integras don't have a knock scencor only the gsr integras have them and they started in 92-present.

ok so my b16a1 doesn;t have that oil temp scencor. is that a bad thing? and should i install the one from my integra engine?

yeah you should swap that over if you are keeping A/C because it will run the condensor fan for 15 min after the car is off if the oil temp is high
