k24 advice

Default k24 advice

i just bought a k24 and i wanna put the type s heads on it.. do i have to mod anything to make it work??? also is that a better choice than an h22?? cause i got a 94 aCCORD i was going to put an h22 but i saw that k24 for sale so i just picked that one up instead. any advice

well, first off h22 is gonna be a WAYYYY easier swap...if you wanna do a k swap its gonna cost wayyy more and you have to be wayyyyy more dedicated
and yes you can swap a k20 head, but if its a tsx motor k24a2 than taking into consideration what kind of power your looking for type r and type s heads dont flow much better than the tsx head

he said it's a crv motor so he probably got it for dirt cheap

ya i got the motor of this one dude who wrecked his car i saw him with the tow truck and he said he was going to junk the car so i asked him can i buy the motor from he said ya.. i got the motor for 800 bucks with everything the ecu and even the auto tranny.. got lucky on that one.. the guy look like he didn't know anything about motors

800 bucks for a k24 isnt bad. If anything you could sell the motor if your not gonna do the swap. But if I were you I would not bother swapping that motor into an accord. Do it in a HB.
