K20A VS. B18C5
Depends on what your definition of better is, everyone's definition is different. Pretty stupid question if you ask me.
Which is better, Apples, or Oranges?

Depends. If you do a K20A(*) (DC5 ITR) swap and keep the power low, not maxed out, you will still have more power than any B18C, C1, C5 and the motor will last several seasons longer than a B motor build being used on the track or in competition.
There are a couple of people who can build a B20 VTEC hybrid motor that will rival a K20A(*), but they are a rare breed who can build that motor to have a K motor's power and last over several seasons.
Despite the cost of a K motor build, the cost can be amortised over several seasons of racing and it will save you money in the long run if you are trying to use a B motor to compete with K motors.
I am a big fan of both the ITR B motor and the B20 VTEC hybrid motors, but it's very hard to compete with the K motors and have a reliable B motor.

Yes.
If you put it in that perspective. -=P It will out last and out perform a B definately. And hell its worth the cost over the long run.
But.. Still cost tooo much. Im sure nos86 won't race his car at the track.....-=P
We got 3-4 K swaps going, and wow. Little things add up I tell ya. LOL.
But yea, as is, it all depends on your goal. Bling Factor or Race Factor.
