Jdm itr vss plug?

I am swapping a 98 spec jdm itr into my usd 00 itr. The jdm vss connector is different from the connector on the usd harness, can I just cut and solder the jdm connector onto my us harness?

Sorry guys I think it's the reverse sensor/ solenoid.
