Default Identifying correct pcm?

So I have a 91 si hatch swapped with a b18b1 has an obd0 to obd1 jumper... Car runs really wel but previous owner said it has a chipped pcm for a vtec motor ( he was planning on doing an ls/v) and the car has constant on check engine light and I'm assuming it would have to do with it not having a vtec head on it. So what would the proper ecu for this car be?
