Default IACV CODE and TPS CODE

I got a code 14...My idle doesnt surge much at all since I lowered it, but only when I give it hard gas...Not so bad since I adjusted the screw...I read that if you remove the sensor from the IACV and the idle drops, the IACV is not the problem, it is the wiring, is this true?? I reused my DX harness and I never had a code on the old engine. Can anyone shed some light on how to get rid of this code??? Also I have a code 7 TPS but im guessing its the TPS sensor itself since I didnt splice into this wire as well. Thanks for reading...
