After i got my swap put in a couple of weeks later when i started the car up i get this loud screaching noise from my engine. sometime it screach a lil other times it screachis for a long time. Some one told me its one of the belts, maybe timing belt or the crank pully could be chipped and missin the belt up. Need feed back on this one

 

If it's a REALLY loud screech then just tighten up your belts. You can also get some stop-squeak stuff from big parts stores that you spray on your belts.

 

it's definitely one of your belts not tightened enough, most likely the alternator belt.

 

hmm i thought it might be that. I didn't change the timin belt cause it seem to be in good condition. could it be that.

 

your timing belt wont squeal. Its one of your accessory belts, make sure theyre tight... if they all are, time to buy new ones
