i have an h22a1 in a 93 civic.
the guys who put it it did some funny booltleg business with the tranny mount.

there is a bolt welded to the mounting point, then the mount ocnnects to the tranny.

it was fine like that for a year but now its starting to tear. (welds where the bolt is)

I want to fix this issue. and probably get new mounts and replace the the factory mounting point which was removed.

without any pictures it is hard to tell....your best bet is to take it to a reputable shop to get an estimate.

If the factory mount was removed and this jacky **** was welded in, it would really depend on how they welded the mount in. Whatever the case may be, the engine may need to come out.
Take it to a shop, get a quote, and see what they say.
I think you just learned the less to not buy a car that someone else modded unless you have the resources to rip it apart and do it right yourself.
