sounds like your burning some oil...do a compression and leak down test and see where your at...the noise in the engine that your talking anout is it coming from the head or the block?

sound like in between.
its not the crank
i had a bearing fail b4 on a prevois motor
this is a mor suddle tappin marbles jingling around kinda sound
not a knocking lawnmower sound

ok i isolated the noise its coming from the alternator.
i think its bangin on the block
a loose bolt or soemthing
today the smoke looked blacker than blue
