Default H22EG Intake

Will a J's Racing style intake fit with an h22eg swap? It looks like it might hit the distributor cap??? Anyone know for sure?

Just use the AEM ITR intake.. 3' in diameter and it looks really nice in the engine bay..

I can order a J's style for $60
If you can show me an AEM ITR for the same I'd do it...if you are talking about the cai....I can't do....one bad experience and everytime I see one I get a little scurd

oh i'm curently running the ITR CAI intake, fits like a glove.

this intake has more low end until 5grand, but afterwards vtec suffers. when i put the ITR CAI one, i noticed a small loss down low (but that is good because of h22a civic has to much torque off the line, now my vtec is crazy... like break loose crazy... so you can tell the intake made a huge difference.. and besides it sounds a bit better...

o.k. here is the decision I have to make by tomorrow morning...I can either go with a J's style intake or an AEM 2.5" CAI (not 3" ITR)...what would you go with on the H22 swap...I just need to get one of these on so I can drive the car

Whatever you do go with a 3" for sure, don't make it hard for your motor to breath! If I were you I would just get a cheesy intake for now and wait and find a 3" AEM CAI. You can find them used for pretty cheap like $90 at most. Your car will run with a smaller one but you will lose performance!

I don't recoment the j's racing one, i recommend the 3" AEM ITR one. that's an old pic of my setup. much better pull on the aem.
