my brain for my h22 just fried does anyone know if i can use a 99 civic ex brain to get me through the weekend? any help would be great

what brain do you need? i have a 97 lude 5spd ecu i'll sell you (obd2, like yours)

well it depends upon what year your engine and and what year your car is. they gotta be the same style, OBD1, or OBD2 to be interchangable. you cant plug an obd1 into an obd2 or vice versa.

so basically if it fits, it will "work" but more than likely wont be running real well, so baby it if you can. im sure the fuel mapping will be totally different and many other things will be off too

EDIT: oh yeah, and these "brains" you speak of are called ECUs
