hahah another H22 civic (very old trend )

I have a friend who has a 93 civic si with the original engine but fully built and putting down 210 whp....the engine was stroked to 1.8, p&p, cams and everything..
I wish i can show his dyno here and change some of u people's mind who are jumping into the bandwagon swaps..
wtf? this has NOTHING to do with this topic and was in no way helpful posting.
props to your friend with the sohc. other than that, don't post nonsense newb.

i am about to do the h22 swap what things should i consider before i do the swap.. and do you have any sugestions about where i can find the best price for a complete swap for a hatch?
Search, my friend. there is many topics regarding this matter. Many many places that supply engines at good prices for you to decide that on your own.

and yes, that guys motor with 210hp is maxed out, fully built.

The h22's baseline is 172... There is ALOT more potential left.

Your friend spent how much on his motor for 210hp?
Fully built motor VS. Stock motor.
Its obvious to see which 1 is cheaper.

I don't know, maybe he likes to say that he runs that quick with a smaller motor. Could be pride or something.

I have had my h22 swap over a year now. (Not one of the bandwagon boys).
I am pretty sure the car wouldnt have hit 13's with a stock b16.
thats for sure

Did you ever dyno before and after removing the iab plate?

Negative.

Only been on a dyno with this car twice. First time i had a 95 twin cam zc in there turbocharged with a t3/4 running 8 lbs of boost (it made 203 hp and 175 tq. and ran a best of 13.2 @ 101mph)

This chart was after iab plate removal with the current engine, (stock h22a intake manifold).

I'm sure that the torque would have come on sooner (not necessarily more of it), with the iab plate still in there.
