Default H22a Clutch Problem

not too long ago i put a centerforce clutch in..and as soon as i got the car back from the shop it started slipping bad...so i took it back and they thought maybe it was something to do with that clutch so they replaced it with a stock clutch...i just got it back tonight and its still slipping and i smell something burning....so it cant be the clutch again could it?...maybe the flywheel?..i have no clue....i would appriciate any help with what it might be....by the way the car would not run with the prelude ecu..so i had to use my old ecu which is off a auto...could this have anything to do with it?

Auto ECU won't have anything to do with it since it would look for specific sensors that plug into an auto tranny, which you don't have setup here. All that it's changing is the performance & fuel mapping on your car..... similar to like when you run an auto PR3 ECU in a 1st gen B16A motor as compared to a MT PR3 ECU on the same motor. Check your pilot & throwout bearings and make sure your flywheel was resurfaced when you (or whoever) did your clutch install. If they didn't resurface it, then it's going to cause the clutch to burn up a lot quicker, which may cause the smell that you're talking about.
