H22 Swap List
their seem to be all these little things that nobody ever talks about when swapping an H22. I have 1998 Civic Coupe EX
I know you need H22 Engine/Tranny Custom Axles...or make your own HCP/HASport Mount kit Shifter Assembly/Shift Cable HCP bracket to keep A/C 92+ Prelude P/S Pump to keep P/S P13 ECU Question are: what about the wiring harness? what this I hear about having to extend the fuel line or buy a new fuel rail? is their anything else I need? (different hoses, belts, stuff not found under my civic hood or on an H22A OBD1 swap, bolts, radiator, fan) Can somebody write a comprehensive how-to on their H22/EK swap? Thanks in Advance |

You use your stock harness and extend/add the wires/connectors in. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by WakeSpliter »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> what this I hear about having to extend the fuel line or buy a new fuel rail? </TD></TR></TABLE> You can either extend the fuel line ( the lude fuel rail is opposite of the civics) or buy a 90-93 accord fuel rail. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by WakeSpliter »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> is their anything else I need? IF you are going to run OBD1 swap, you must get a OBD2a ---> OBD1 ECU jumper. There is odds and ends, but you can figure that out. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by WakeSpliter »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Can somebody write a comprehensive how-to on their H22/EK swap?</TD></TR></TABLE> Poison and I both have write-ups on into a EG, for a EK, you do not cut anything in the engine bay and the wiring is alittle different. |

Re: H22 Swap List (junglerunna02)
ARRGGG, NO you dont have to modify the clutch line.... NOT AT ALL... You take the civic unit, and open up the two mounting holes and bolt it on to teh h22 tranny.. DONE... easy as that..

Maybe its an EK thing, maybe it was a DX thing, I dont know. I do know that I have a clutch that works and that I had to modify, and just giving the dude a heads up just incase he runs into the problem I did. |

I don't think I read anything about the injector resistor box! Or did I miss it?
