Ive been working on a h22 swapped civic and i cant seem to figure out why vtec wont engage.... the car has a stock p13 h22 ecu all vtec wires are right, a4 vtec selnoid , d6 vtec pressure, d3 knock... the car runs and drives just fine.. no cel's.. the car has the stock h22 injectors with the resister box installed... but with the h22 ecu it wont rev over 5k rpm... when we installed a chipped p28 ecu it revs to redline of 8200(b16a specs) ive checked the selnoid to 12v power and it clicks and ive unplugged the pressure switch and it gives a cel.. so i know all the vtec sensors work... ive checked the screens in the selnoid and ther both clean... i have no clue what to do next....

 

try another p13 that one might have water damage ? or sumin

 

no check engine lights? my vtec wasnt working but it was because my motor was torqing and the im hit the firewall and cracked the tps! new tps and rear tranny mount, and good as new!

 

low oil level?

I would think possibly the P13 is bad. Also did VTEC kick in on the Chipped out ECU?
