Default H22 into 99si

Alright. let me be the first to admit im new to the whole "hybrid" area. if i ask something stupid or if i should already know the answer im sorry. now, what are the advantages/disadvantages of swapping a late model h22 into my 99 si? i want to do a motor buildup with turbo or possibly an all motor setup. the only thing ive heard negative about this is the weight. any insight would be appreciated.

The advantages of a motor swap is the power to weight ratio with another stock motor in another car.

As for h22 swaps, I would search around. This topic has been talked to many many times before and reading threads will benefit you greatly.

for your 99 si since it has a b16 already id save the 4k $ and put a turbo on it...or build for all motor...with turbo youll put down more hp and tq then the stock h22.. now if you wantd to swap and then turbo id go ls/turbo...id sell the si before i swap the engine...
