Default H22 Balancer Question

This question might be better answered in the Prelude forum, but a lot of fellow H22er's are here. So here's the question. Can you get away with removing the balancer belt and daily drive? And if so, is there really any benifit? I know the shaft and belt are essentially taking power to operate, but is it a worth while gain? I know it's there for a reason, but just asking.

you can remove the whole balncer shafts and plug the oiling holes and it increases oil pressure everywhere else, along with the horsepower gain, i run no belt, and dont feel any more vibration then stock
