Default GSR Fuel Filter?

I currently have a 92-95 civic fuel filter in my swap, but the design is very different from a b-series filter

In the b-series filter, fuel comes in the top and out the bottom (or vice versa, but there are top and bottom fittings)

In the civic filter, fuel enters and exits through the top, which seems like a restrictive method of doing the same thing.

My question is if anybody has modified a B-series filter to fit into a civic chassis, and did you have to flair the fuel lines to make it fit?

Do you think this is even worth it?

thanks in advance

I bent my lines on my eg to use a integra filter the one that enter from the bottom and exits up top and it sure wasnt worth it. Not sure why i bothered. Just go to honda and get the correct filter. It only 30 dollars or so.

So you don't think the top entry/exit civic filter hurts performance at all?
