I purchased a 97 civic hatch 5speed shell. i got a d16y7 motor with it but it is bolted up to an auto trans and so that means the Engine harness is fitted for the auto trans which I will be removing. Also i am converting to OBD1. And after some research I believe the engine harness and conversion harness are OBD2b and the car is OBD2a. The engine harness fits the conversion harness but there is an extra plug the fits on the end of the harness but the conversion harness has no wires for. I am hoping this plug is all automatic related and i can not worry about it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
